Bonitasoft’s strategy since the beginning has been based on our unique approach to low code, to enable IT and business collaboration - but always with a strong emphasis on being developer-friendly. Our last release was centered on more ways to provide tools and separate interfaces for different user profiles. Now, in this release, we are concentrating on tools for developers.

The development work on Bonita 2022.2 has resulted in some key advancements for developers: more capabilities to ease testing and deployment.

We are also keeping our attention on sustainable automation for Bonita users. Providing more and better testing offers more stability for Bonita projects. It also allows the development team to be able to have more confidence in the changes they make, whether to deliver innovative new features or to update deployed Bonita applications.

So here is what you will find in the new release of the Bonita platform, v 2022.1:

Bonita Test Toolkit - more and better testing before deployment

The Bonita Test Toolkit, available in the Bonita Enterprise edition, accelerates testing and deployment of complex, core, and critical automation projects. Projects can be tested efficiently at each step (as well as end-to-end) with the tooling provided to write and execute tests locally - in the Bonita Studio development environment or in any remote non-production environment. The Bonita Test Toolkit can be executed from an IDE, a command line or a Continuous Integration. It is also integrated into the Bonita Continuous Delivery add-on to include testing in the delivery pipeline.

Bonita platform Docker image - find and manage issues before deployment

Bonita 2022.1 Enterprise also comes with an updated Docker image. Its “healthcheck” checks all Bonita levels so if something goes wrong, it is immediately visible and can be managed. Users can now take either the Bonita Docker image that has its own database schema, or can use their specific database configured for Bonita. This new Bonita Docker image also now includes its own LDAP synchronizer, all adding up to a smoother, easier deployment.

Security vulnerabilities handling - robust and dynamic

The Bonita 2022.1 Enterprise platform also includes better performance and robustness in its Runtime engine, with robust security vulnerabilities handling. Dynamic permission authorizations are activated by default. Any custom code added for permissions remains intact during platform updates, so no time-consuming rework by the development team is needed.

Bonita Update Tool - migrate to new versions more easily

The Bonita Update tool permits easy, automated migration of Bonita process applications starting from Bonita 7.10 release, and it comes with improved documentation.

The Bonita Community open source edition includes all capabilities required to develop and deploy process automation projects and can be downloaded here.

Bonita 2022.1 Enterprise edition can be downloaded from the Customer Service Center

Aucun projet d'infrastructure, aucun sprint IT dédié.
