Automation is key to Legendre's digital transformation strategy

With the increase of digitalization of the construction sector, the Legendre group - a major player in construction, real estate and energy - announced a strategic collaboration with Bonitasoft. This partnership marks a key step in Legendre's digital transformation strategy, aimed at optimizing its internal processes and strengthening its operational efficiency.

At the end of 2023, under the leadership of CIO Christophe Poiron and Jean-Yves Le Roy, Director of Studies and Development in IT, the Legendre group committed to an ambitious master plan by tackling the digitalization of processes and document management, with a particular interest in harnessing their data.

A major player in the construction sector, the group has chosen Bonita to automate its processes. The need for an effective and agile process management solution had become critical, particularly as existing tools, for example as the Excel spreadsheets used by the real estate teams, were no longer appropriate.

Strategic collaboration for digital transformation

The choice of Bonita was made following a selection process that included five potential solutions, with a successful proof-of-concept against the last competitor on the shortlist. Bonitasoft stood out thanks to its ability to listen, its low-code approach promoting productivity, and its proposition of self-contained, independent applications that facilitate maintenance and scalability.

Towards increased autonomy in process management

The first project under development concerns the management of real estate assets, targeting a significant improvement in tools and the security of processes and data. The turnkey deployment of the first process, with the support of Bonitasoft, will then allow the group to create an internal skills center in order to operate almost autonomously.
